Changing perspective – Letting Go of Stories and Self-Limiting Beliefs.

In this perspective workshop we will explore the human tendency to tell stories about ourselves, our lives and the world around us. We will explore ways of letting go of our fixed beliefs and stories and letting magic emerge.

“when we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change” Wayne Dyer

Grafitti or a welcome with a smile?

Join Rachel, Mark and Victoria for an afternoon of exploration, discussion, meditation, fun and changing perspective. With practical exercises we will explore how our physical, psychological and emotional state can effect our perception and how subtle changes can change our perspective. We will incorporate mindfulness meditation to help choose where and how we focus our attention.

We always have a choice in how we respond

We have all been through a lot in the past year, we can feel angry or bitter about the restrictions and loss of freedom or we can be grateful for the time and space to learn new skills, appreciate the positive impact on the planet from reduced travel, or be grateful for the support of friends.

If we take the time to pause and look we can always find a positive. Often, when we reflect on the tough times we have faced we can find blessings that have arisen from them, from increased resilience to new skills. There is always an opportunity to find the bright side of a situation by adjusting your viewpoint and identifying the positive.

Changing your perspective is like changing the window through which you view the world. When you change how you change what you see, you change how you feel about the world.
