A New Beginners Class
Tui Shou (Push Hands)
Also called listening hands or sensing hands, is a two-person training routine in Tai Chi. It shows the connection between the physical power of the body and Tai Chi form movements.
Build Better Structure (Rooting)
This will tone and strengthen, legs, hips and core muscles, also teach alinement, balance and good posture.
Develop Deeper Relaxation
When in two person Push Hands, you will soon understand that tension in the body will make you physically weak and when you start to relax the physical body becomes stronger.
Though Push Hands really improves your structure, rooting and relaxation, this can be done with or without partner training, but you need partner training to improve your Sensitivity.
When doing this training you will sense tension and force in your opponents, where you will feel and pinpoint there mistakes and move them off balance with your whole body, called harmonising the five bows, two arms, two legs and the torso moving as one.(Internal)
Tui Shou (Push Hands), with time will make the physical body stronger and more relaxed.
Beginners class starts on Monday 3rd June at 11.20 – 12.20pm
Each session costs £5.00, which is pay as you go.
The class will be on at:
