Monthly meditation class in Throckley, Newcastle upon Tyne.

A monthly group exploring mindfulness practice through meditation & discussion, operated on a donation basis to cover room hire and refreshments.

It is open to anyone who is intereCommunity mindfulness Throckley drop insted in improving their own sense of wellbeing. Sessions are free. A donation towards room hire etc., is appreciated but not expected. Please feel free to invite anyone you think might be interested and like our page Community Mindfulness. Outer West Newcastle.

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing a non judgmental, curious awareness to our thoughts, senses and feelings, in the present moment, accepting them and seeking out both the pleasant & the unpleasant in a spirit of kindness & self compassion.

There is robust scientifically research showing that it can improve mental health, pain management, improve memory & concentration & alleviate stress & anxiety.
Practicing mindfulness can help us to be fully present in our life and work, and improve our quality of life.
