In partnership with Sportsworks and with funding from Sport England Back to Play fund, we will be delivering a multi-sport and mindfulness training programme over a 22-week period starting on 4th May. Initially outdoors with one session per week expanding to 3 sessions per week as the program progresses. The project will deliver improvements to participants physical and mental wellbeing and help them to lead happier and healthier lives. The project will target participants who are physically inactive and/or suffer with issues such as cardio-vascular/COPD problems, physical disability,depression and anxiety. Sessions will include mindful movement, meditation, restorative yoga and multi-sports activities to support a return to regular physical activity.
