Mindfulness For Professionals
Mindful Therapies and Mindful Impact are delighted to offer a series of workshops designed to support you to support others within your work. Whether you are a manager supporting staff; HR professional, counsellors or psychotherapist, these workshops will provide the tools to help you to support others more effectively.

Friday 13th May – 1pm-3pm – Mindfulness for professionals – working with low mood and depression
This workshop is aimed at people supporting clients, staff and service users experiencing depression and low mood. We will explore what depression is and how to guide clients through simple mindfulness exercises to learn to meet difficult emotions with more kindness and self-acceptance. We will also explore mood boosting activities and reflections. This is an experiential workshop with the opportunity to practice new skills and share case examples.
Friday 27th May – 1pm-3pm – Mindfulness for professionals – working with stress and anxiety
This workshop is aimed at people supporting clients, staff and service users experiencing stress and anxiety. This workshop will provide a basic neuroscientific understanding of stress and anxiety and how symptoms can be managed or reduced. You will also learn how to guide clients through simple mindfulness exercises such as breathing exercises and simple movements to reduce anxiety symptoms. This is an experiential workshop with the opportunity to practice new skills and share case examples.
Friday 10th June – 1pm-3pm – Mindfulness for professionals – working with low self esteem
This workshop is aimed at people supporting clients, staff and service users experiencing low self esteem. This workshop will provide skills in mindfulness and self compassion so that you can support others in developing confidence and self esteem. You will also learn how to guide clients through simple mindfulness exercises and guided visualisations designed to develop greater confidence. This is an experiential workshop with the opportunity to practice new skills and share case examples.
Friday 24th June – 1pm-3pm – Mindfulness for professionals – vicarious trauma
You cannot pour from an empty vessel! This workshop is aimed at people supporting clients, staff and service users and is designed to help you to manage your own wellbeing so that you can go on to support others more effectively. Supporting other people can be draining, overwhelming and even traumatic at times. This workshop will give you the tools that you need to reduce your own stress levels. This is an experiential workshop.
Each 2 hour workshop will be delivered fortnightly, starting from Friday 13th May and ending Friday 24th June. Each session will be delivered via Zoom with tickets available to purchase on Eventbrite.
