Want to improve your mental health, reduce stress, increase awareness, improve concentration and memory, make positive choices, connect with others or just find a bit more peace and happiness?

Try our boot camp for the mind

Mindfulness has been shown to help with all of the above and more.

Take some time out to take care of  your mind and body with a day of mindfulness practice and meditation.  The day will include meditation and a range of mindfulness practices suitable for beginners or as a refresher for experienced meditators. The basic concepts of mindfulness will be explained and explored in a relaxed and fun environment.

Mindfulness is paying attention in the present moment, with curiosity and non-judgement to our our sensations and experience and helps us to make better choices about how we respond to experiences, sensations and thoughts.  It can enhance our wellbeing both physically and mentally.

Dedicating a day to focused practice can support your on-going practice or help you start your mindfulness journey. The day is an opportunity to be kind to yourself in a safe and friendly environment with like minded others.

*Please note that it is not advisable to take this course if you are currently experiencing acute mental health distress. Mindfulness is not a substitute for psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. Please talk to your GP if you have any doubts about your suitability for the course.
